Those who just love the world of pirates and are obsessed with the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean” would find that there is not a lot of variety of games in the pirate world especially in MMOs or MMORPGs. Those who are looking to fulfill their obsessions of being pirate would find “Dogs of the Seas” quite suited to their addiction. Dogs of the Seas is a strategy browser based MMOs that takes you on the adventure of the pirate world.

The sign-in is very easy and you will be glad to know that it is a Free to play game. You don’t have anything to lose other then your time. This game is not for those who like 3D action since it is a more strategic game. The game has quite pretty and rich graphics, the developers made sure the game looks good. The user interface is quite as beautiful as the graphics of the game them self. They don’t take much time to load but it can’t be said the same for user who use modem for Internet connectivity. The graphics can be downloaded in a package file to even better minimize the loading times that take longer for some people. In saying this, the user interface and controls and navigation are fairly easy to understand and use.
The game is set on the Caribbean seas in the 18th century, you will begin as a rookie pirate 
whose trying to make his way to wealth and glory. As you play the game you will have to collect resources, which you can do by plundering trade ships, following to that at your hiding bay you can build different type of building for your uses like gunsmiths, ship builders, repairers etc. As pirate and captain of your ship you will need a crew that follows you which you can have by hiring crew when docked at a bay.
As you expand and grow more wealthy and strong in the game you will get to have fleets which 
you can send to pillage and plunder or you can send them to go for treasure hunts or plunder more ships. The game also gives you skills which you can increase as you progress through the game, you can also build new ships and weapons for your travels. In addition to free style pirating you also get to do missions and quest in the games, normally the missions are to bring certain type of resources or to defeat a certain pirate fleet.
The game is mostly focused on PvP (Player Versus Player) battles, you will get to pillage and plunder other players for resources and to get a scary respect on your name. The game features in-game chat messenger which can be make the game a little less boring then others, since it helps players who can’t find the right track by talking and socializing with more advanced players.
Finishing this review, the game could be given 3 out of 5 stars, the graphics are quite good for a browser game and the interactions and gameplay is quite fun, especially for pirate fans. Again the game is totally Free to play and it has a nice look to it which is worth a try but loses it glitter once you play the game for week or two.
